Jenna plans to teach composition at a community college after graduation.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Gina Guzman&lt;/strong&gt; defended her thesis, entitled &amp;quot;Re-articulating Training Practices:&amp;nbsp;Valuing the Ethnic Voice in Writing Center Tutor Training,&amp;quot; in May 2009.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Yazmin Lazcano&lt;/strong&gt; defended her thesis, entitled &amp;quot;Historical Memory Negotiated: Latino/a Rhetorical Reception to Ken Burns&#039; The War,&amp;quot; in August 2009. Yazmin will enter the Rhetoric, Composition and Linguistics Ph.D. program at Arizona State University in the fall.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Chris Sisto&lt;/strong&gt; completed his comprehensive exams for completion of the MARC program in May 2009. &amp;nbsp;Chris continues his career as a lecturer in the Department of Education at Texas State.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description><guid isPermaLink="false">/texas-state-mster-in-rhet-comp/contentParagraph/00</guid></item></channel></rss>
